Love your work here. We are home schooling, and after reading the knowledge gap we made significant changes to our curriculum. We are still doing the normal homeschool work books, but we also bought the Core Knowledge (CKLA) books on social studies/science and added that to what we are already covering.
Then I started reading the writing revolution (TWR) book...
So now we read through a CKLA chapter on say the Civil War, we then spend time trying to come up with "Because, But, So" sentences.
That being said, if you ever came out with some work books that combined the TWR with the CKLA content I would be very interested in purchasing some. Or if you know of another good solution that's already out there.
Thanks for all that you do in pushing the field of education forward.
Thanks, Mathew! You're not the first person to ask about combining TWR with CKLA content, which I think is a great idea. The Writing Revolution organization has been working on that, but just for K-2, and I don't know that status of that project. However, I do know that an organization called Redwood Consulting has developed some materials that combine CKLA with TWR activities. I'm not sure if you can purchase those materials, but you can find out more about them here:

Yes you can purchase the materials, I have done so, and I'm eager to check them out.
Awesome I will look into it.
Thank you so much! I can’t wait to explore the questions.
